The HILL supports students enrolled in either Cyber Academy or Heron Virtual Academy.

WHY THE HILL EXISTS

Expanding the Virtual School Experience

Families choose virtual school for a variety of reasons, and many often look for additional opportunities for their students to work alongside peers, get face-to-face support, and engage with their school community in person.

That’s why The Heron Institute created The Heron Institute Learning Lab, otherwise known as The HILL.

It’s an in-person model that successfully launched its first location in Greenville, SC. There are plans to open more locations around South Carolina, so all of our students can benefit from the convenience of in-person connection.

On your first visit, our team will welcome you, introduce you to The HILL, and help you learn more about the support, activities, and opportunities available. You’ll leave knowing The HILL is a welcoming place your family can turn to for support, connection, and new opportunities.

Some HILL programs and events are open to families who are considering enrollment. If space is limited, preference will be given for currently-enrolled Cyber Academy or Heron Virtual Academy students. If you are exploring either school, you are welcome to schedule a visit to see The HILL for yourself.
